About Us

Melissa De Jesus Quinn, M.D.
Dr. Quinn received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland in 2001. She attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and graduated in 2005. She excelled during her internship and psychiatry residency program at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and served as a chief resident during her final year. She was a leader in medical student education and received a highly recognized award, the Laughlin Foundation Merit Award, in 2009 for professional achievement, dedication and scholarship. She blends psychotherapy and medication management in her treatment of patients and has experience in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, group therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. She treats general adult patients with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, post-partum disorders and personality disorders. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Juan I. Campos, M.D.
Dr. Campos has worked for 27 years in the Mental Health field, twenty four in the USA and three overseas. He holds a medical doctor degree from the Universidad de Panama. Dr. Campos has been trained in psychiatry in Panama and in the USA. He received his USA training at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He has received several recognitions as a clinician.

 



Kelly G. Cowan, M.D.
Dr. Cowan is a Board Certified Physician in Psychiatry and Neurology since 1998. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Microbiology, science has always been her love. During medical school and residency, Dr. Cowan began studying Neuro-Psychiatry and has specialized in treating patients with complicated medical illness and neurological diseases. Her motto has been the brain is the most important organ in the body which needs to be respected and fully treated if ill- to maximize quality of life.

Dr. Cowan continues to teach as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. She is also the Medical Director of an Assisted Living Facility: Arden Courts San Antonio for the past 11 years. Dr. Cowan has worked in full time private practice for the past 15 years. She has received multiple recognitions and awards as a teacher and clinician. She is very excited to bring TMS to San Antonio and offer this treatment to patients who suffer from treatment-resistant major depressive disorder.

Donna Campos, TMS Technician and Coordinator
Donna has been a part of San Antonio TMS since its inception in 2012. She has been trained as a pharmacist and has taught both Algebra and Geometry at the High School Level. She made the change to San Antonio TMS when she realized she can help patients "not just get better, but get well." She brings daily a compassionate heart and positive attitude for those she treats so they know that "hope" to get well never goes away.
